The hormones of a teenage zombie in action.

Warm Bodies, the big screen adaptation of Isaac Marion's romantic novel about zombies offers a curious vision, full of optimism but also black humour, of the zombie apocalypse that seems so fashionable in recent times.

In Warm Bodies you'll meet R (Nicholas Hoult), a young zombie who spends his days with his friend M (Rob Corddry) wandering aimlessly and looking for something to put in their mouth, after a global plague that has turned almost the entire population into the undead. Until he meets Julie (Teresa Palmer), a young human he hesitates to attack ... without really knowing why.

Is it hormones that have made the teenage zombie become like this? Julie's father General Grigio (John Malkovich) advises her to shoot him in the head, but she goes against his wishes. And that's mainly because she wants to take care of R and treat him like a human. Thus, little by little, thanks to Julie, R's dead heart starts beating again and he remembers what it was like to be alive.
